What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at the scheduled appointment time.
What should I expect at my session?
Upon arrival the therapist will review your completed intake form and discuss your concerns , expectations, and wellness goals. Any necessary assessments will be performed, and your session will be tailored to your individual needs. All required forms must be completed prior to your appointment. Forms completed upon arrival will reduce your scheduled hands-on treatment time.
Do I have to take off all of my clothes?
No. You will be asked to disrobe to your level of comfort. Professional draping is always used. However, some clients prefer to keep their underwear on. Therapist will leave the room while you undress and lie on the table underneath the sheets.
Required forms prior to your appointment?
Please complete the appropriate intake form prior to your arrival to avoid reducing your scheduled hands-on session time.
What is the new client vs returning client intake form?
The New Client Form includes your health history and is completed only once. The Returning Client Intake Form is a brief form completed before each scheduled appointment to update your therapist on any health changes, current concerns, and areas you would like addressed during your session. See here.
What happens if I am running late?
If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible by phone or text to (845-244-1780). Your session will still end at its originally scheduled time. If there is availability afterward, any extension of the session will be at the therapist's discretion.
If you have not arrived or contacted us, we will attempt to reach you by phone and text within the first 10 minutes of your scheduled appointment time. At 15 minutes past your originally scheduled start time, if we have not received a phone call or text from you, a final text will be sent notifying you that your appointment has been canceled and will be considered a no-show.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can occur and hope that all is well. No-show appointments are non-refundable, and any payment made for the missed appointment will be forfeited.
Cancellations
There is a 6 hour window where clients have the ability to cancel appointments online. If the appointment is not cancelled prior to the 6 hour window, any payment made for the missed appointment is non-refundable and will be forfeited. If the appointment was not prepaid, payment in advance will be required when scheduling future appointments. At this point it will be considered a no show.
NO-SHOWS - What happens if I do not show up for an appointment?
It is our policy that an appointment is considered a no-show 15 minutes after the originally scheduled start time if we have not received a call or text from the Client. At that time, the appointment will be cancelled. We understand that unexpected situations can occur.
However, if we have not heard from you within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, your appointment will be considered a no-show. Any payment made for the missed appointment is non-refundable and will be forfeited. If the appointment was not prepaid, payment in advance will be required when scheduling future appointments.
